It's working!

Water is pooling up in my back yard and my neighbors' back yards.

But it's draining into the hole, rather than coming into the house.

This makes all the work and expense of building the drainage system seem worthwhile.

Rollins: A lifelong computer junkie, I retired from teaching in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida in Tampa in May 2011. After a year and a half of doing independent research and software development, striving to become the next dot com gezillionaire, I decided I should get a job. I worked as a programmer for ten months at Mad Mobile in Tampa. From the end of 2013 through the end of 2015 I worked as a programmer for Geographic Solutions, in Palm Harbor. From January through May of 2016 I was back at USF teaching full time in the Computer Science Department. Now retired again, working to get up to speed on on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
